Alnmouth is one of Northumberland's most attractive coastal villages. Set where the River Aln meets the North Sea, it is known for its colourful houses, wide sandy beach and peaceful setting, making it a popular stop along the Northumberland coast.

Alnmouth has a distinctive character, with narrow streets, independent shops, cafés and traditional cottages overlooking the river and coast. Alnmouth Beach stretches south from the village towards the mouth of the River Aln, with wide views across the North Sea. The surrounding dunes and countryside also make the area ideal for walking and exploring.
